I went with my girl friends, and we all agreed that Acre has great drinks, awesome side dishes and fantasies dessert. But the steak was ok and not impressive with the price they charge. However we enjoyed the vibe of the restaurant, the nice and attentive staffs, and the our time to get together at Acre restaurant. The staffs were really nice to try their best to accommodate our needs and help us to get the dishes, the drinks, and the dessert we wanted. Without those factors, it would be only 4 stars.

We came to acre for our anniversary dinner. The restaurant is modern and clean with an open kitchen concept. Parking wasnt a problem for us here. When you walk in, the entire restaurant has a nice smoke smell which I thought added a cozy ambiance. Our service was impeccable, we had a friendly waitress who was honest and gave us a walkthrough of the Acre concept and experience. This is a farm to table concept and everything seems to be made in-house. She was attentive throughout the night and brought us a champagne toast to celebrate. I can't recommend their pasta dish enough with braised rabbit as well as their delicata squash soup. Both had complex flavor, the pasta was rich and the rabbit cut through it along with the parsley to create a delicious experience. The delicata soup was smooth and hearty with sour cherries for a pop of flavor. Their fried chicken is outstanding, the best I've had in KC. Crispy and moist inside and they give you a very large portion. Although I didn't feel that the fries were elevated - I would recommend picking a different side. My husband ordered the steak which was cooked perfectly, and his hatch Chile Mac and cheese had a subtle pepper flavor with a smooth sauce. The basque cheesecake was fluffy and smooth without being too sweet. Their cocktails were okay but I would pass on the next visit. This is a great addition to Parkville, and worth a visit.

Since our last visit to Acre, they've updated their menu with some exquisite enhancements, and introduced a short list of delicious Seasonal Selections. We feel a special connection with the Acre team. There is always smiles and warm welcomes when we arrive. They love to share updates on new things at the restaurant. Chef Andrew Longres was our tour guide of Acre's new expansion that can accommodate large groups. For starters, we went with the Slow Roasted Beet Salad and Fairytale Pumpkin Soup. You may seen Andrew on a local tv cooking show making this delightful soup. For entrees, my wife and I split the Wood Roasted Illinois White Tale Venison Loin. What was exceptional about this serving was it lacked the gamey taste. Their secret is dry aging that removes it. Two large servings, perfectly prepared medium rare. For sides, we went with two new offerings: the Green Chili Mac and Cheese and the Grilled Green Beans. Both were amazing. The green chili added a subtle kick to the rich Mac and Cheese. The green beans were crunchy and featured a smoky taste. For dessert, we again tried some new options: Mr. Ingram's Paw Paw Trifle and the Basque Cheesecake. Both was decadent. The Paw Paw tastes like a combination of mango, pineapple and banana. The cheesecake was crustless and had a golden, beautiful caramelized exterior. Some things simply get better with time. Acre is a great example of that. Constantly evolving and improving.

I had the pleasure of going out on a date with my husband at this lovely restaurant. When we arrived, they were completely full and only had a few spots open at the bar. I'm glad we sat at the bar because our server Angel was exceptional. He was very knowledgeable with the menu and crafted tasty drinks for us. We ordered the American Wagu Tartare. This was a delightful dish. It was a but heavy on the mustard, but if you pair, it was the pickled cabbage and capers all the flavors balance perfectly. We were able to try the house made ricotta cappelletti, and this creation was delicious. The braised rabbit and mousseline paired perfectly together. The dish came with four pieces, and each piece was so rich with flavor that was all we needed. My husband ordered 45-Day Dry Aged Ribeye. Loved it. I ordered the 8oz dry-aged agnus burger. This was cooked perfectly. I ordered this because the menu started it had a red-onion marmalade (which was perfect). I didn't notice it had spicy aioli, which overpowered the entire burger. Honesty, it didn't need the aioli (my taste buds couldn't handle it). This was a pleasant experience, and we will be going back again.

Second visit and waited too long for the second visit. Had the nicest experience and secured the best fine dining place in the Northland. We enjoyed our Ribeye for two, potato purée and fresh green beans. Starter salad and wine were also very good. Outdoor seating was available on a beautiful night. View on the patio isn't the best because of their location but it was like having dinner on our neighborhood patio only fancier. Friendly and social, only better than our neighborhood and didn't have to clean up or cook. Haha

Acre is in a shopping center in Parkville off the 45 hwy. I love this because it's only five minutes from my house. It's on the upscale side but to me it's worth every cent. I absolutely love this place. As soon as you step in the door you're greeted by friendly staff and a nice aroma of yummy smelling food. Very warm and inviting atmosphere. It's an open kitchen so you can see the Chefs at work. I ordered the chopped salad, 35 day KC strip which came with a side, and a choice of sauce. The side I ordered was creamed spinach with gruyere and cheese curds. I picked the smoked horseradish crème fraiche sauce for my steak. The salad was very good. It came with Applewood bacon, pickled onion, dill trout roe (I don't care for roe so I declined that) and Maytag blue cheese dressing. Perfectly cooked steak, so juicy and full of flavor and excellent with that horseradish sauce. The creamed spinach was good but just a tad bit salty for my taste. I know when they first opened this restaurant they weren't open for lunch, but now that they are I need to try their lunch menu as well. Parkville needs more restaurants like this.

Acre is a great fresh fine dining experience in a comfortable setting. Indoor or gated outdoor tables. VERY clean and very green environment using natural fiber cloths, lovely plates and silverware but the terrific FOOD! That is the WHY of going to ACRE. My Beet Salad, Delightful Newest Pasta Dish + Mildred's Lemon cake .. all for under $45!

I want to give 5 stars here's why I didn't. I made a reservation,i arrived on time, only 2 other tables at the time Occupied, and the host tried to sit me at a 2 top basically in front of host stand and front door ! If I wanted the absolute worst table in the restaurant, I wouldn't have bothered with the reservation! Second, I find the price point for an average night out simply too high. So definitely just a special occasion place. 3rd, don't wear anything that needs to be dry cleaned. I had to immediately throw our clothes in the wash and jump in the shower to wash the smoke smell off . That being said, food was tasty, and I actually found the portions to be generous to the point I should have ordered less. I often find these kind the establishments,You need several courses, and that's not the case here, which was refreshing but had i known before over ordering.

Fantastic each time. From start to finish. Even held our breath and brought children here last night for a special dinner. No need to worry, no one had a single complaint. Chef Andrew even took time out of his busy dinner rush to spend time with my youngest. Love! Wait staff are top notch. She kept drinks full and plates cleaned. Very pleasant. We noticed last night that even though the restaurant was completely full, we were still able to have our own conversations without having to raise our voices to be heard. Really elevated the ambiance. Absolutely incredible to have this special place right down the street from us.
